I have an eastwood 175 welder and i need to weld some .035 al to some .060 al. I was hoping to get ot done this weekend which means all the welding shops are closed so i cant TIG weld it. My question is if i do light tack welds on a low amperage setting can i get there with my welder or am i going to blow through seeing as how this is thinner than whats listed on their site.
I'm a novice welder but this piece isnt structural just cosmetic.
