Eastwood MIG 175 Diffuser - replacement?

The diffuser on my Eastwood Mig 175 is getting buggered up. Are these simply a threaded connection to take off and put on? It looks like two flats at the base of the current diffuser, possibly for a wrench? I don't want to throw a wrench on and break it so that is why I ask. If threaded, LH or RH?

Generally they are threaded. Can I ask how yours is getting messed up?

weld for a min or so to get parts warm . then dip in nozzle around 1/4-1/2" and remove . let extra drip off .

then weld away .

A ball of weld must have bounced up in the nozzle and damaged one of the gas ports. It kind of melted it and made the hole larger. It still works but want to replace it. - Thanks!

Somehow my question didn't translate well. I asked about the removal of the diffuser.

Thanks anyway on the gel, I do have two containers of it and use it regularly. - Thanks!

no problem . most inside guts get short life from not using gel .

but yes most gun heads the diffuser just spins out . not super tight inside .

try it and go from there.

30 seconds of googling said it is a standard Tweco style gun. The diffuser unscrews rh thread and decent welding shop will have consumables.
