Now that I'm able to afford some tools I need, I've started looking at Eastwood again. It seems like a lot of their stuff has really gone up in the last year or two. Has it or am I just misremembering?

Most tool manufacturers have raised their prices in the past year. Dollars worth less, commodity prices have risen, as has labor even in China.

What are you looking to buy exactly from eastwood? They have never been a bargain price type of business. Nice people, great service, just not cheap. Depending on what you're looking for, compare prices at Tooltopia.com, thetoolwarehouse.net, and toolrage.com to get a feel for average market prices.

Thanks, guys. Like I said, it's been a while since I priced things and they were higher than what I remembered, so I just wanted to see if they were price gouging. I was thinking that their plug welding aids were in the $20 range, not $30-$40 and I also noticed that they want $44 (on sale) for their trim removal tools whereas I was thinking it used to be like $25.
