I keep finding myself drawn to the Eastwood SCT.
I have a few projects coming up that are lots of stripping paint and rust off of flat surfaces in order to prep and paint. My utility trailer is one and I’d love to get under my Silverado and clean up the frame and undercarriage to undercoat and paint. In the past I’d probably just use 5 inch angle grinder with cup and straight knotted brushes. Both of these, especially the trailer have long flat members I think the SCT would clean right up and save time. I lurk on GJ a lot, but I don’t see these types of tools being used often. Is this one of those “looks good on paper” tools or does the high cost for the tool and consumables scare off potential customers?
