Any opinion on Eastwood tools? I am looking at the 3/8 torque wrench. I need a very accurate wrench, and this is a strain gauge based tool.

Might be similar to this one (don't know if it's the same manufacturer):

Take a look at the reviews.

End of the day, this seems like a good deal if you want a digital torque wrench. Price is definitely good.

After using a Snap On digital torque wrench, I found it annoying so I would go with a clicker. For the price though, this can't be beat if digital is what you are after. The HF digital torque tool has proven to be very accurate, so I imagine this will be adequate as well.

What are you using it for?

I've heard good things about it. Not inexpensive, nothing at Eastwood really is, but if it helps they do stand behind their products so if it's defective or unsatisfactory in some way you will have recourse. The times I've dealt with them it's always been smooth.

I have this torque wrench and quite frankly, I am just as happy with a clicker instead of this one. While the accuracy rate is +/- 2%, you will find in especially areas you cannot monitor the digital readout, that when the buzzer does go off, you can easily overshoot your intended torque before you let go. A clicker is less prone than this.

Eastwood's torque/angle wrench is only $10 more. One of my buddies has it, swears it's great. I haven't used it, but you can get a few of those for the price of a used Techangle.
