Easy cart mod

I had bought a couple of these 7oz Mityvac suction guns quite a while back, they work great for small amounts of p/s fluid and similar. I never had a really good way of storing them to where they weren't getting dirty, being underfoot or leaking all over.

Then I had an epiphany, get some pot magnets and a peg board and attach it to the side of the cart so it's out of the way. The have a drip tray for the drip issues and it can store funnel accessories as well and solve the worlds problems. So, I found some plastic 1/4" peg board at wally world online for 8$ (turns out it was 2pcs), a silverware type tray (Rubbermaid) and some metal pipe strap hangers. Bolted it all together with #8 machine screws and have 3x 2" and 2x 1.25" pot magnets on the back. A little pig mat in the tray and perfection.

I did have to cut the pegboard to about 15" wide to fit the tray. I would have preferred black as well, wasnt an option. I need to get some hooks yet as I want to put the adapter for a Lisle oil funnel on it and & add some to hold some funnels too.

That's a nice set up. I've been trying to find a metal peg board for my cart for something similar

Good idea, I'd like to have room at work to build something like that for all my funnels/suckers.
