Got a 1.5 Ton Dayton jack (model 3Z353) off a garage sale this weekend.
My question is this: It seems like the arm swing arc is really small. like maybe 30 degrees. My craftsman jacks have nearly 80 degrees of swing. (handle goes from nearly straight up and down to almost horizontally flat.) Is this normal for a jack of this older age?
Also the serial numer is "2-73" Was this made in 1973?
Any help is appreciated,
-Mike
This is the resting angle for the handle:
