Easy to roll across flooring?

I would like to upgrade my garage/shop floor in order to address two issues. The #1 issue is the blasted concrete is HARD (and cold in the winter), as in my dogs are barking far sooner than I would like. The second issue is powercords across the floor.

Now, the constraints:

1) I rent. Permanent changes are not in the cards.
2) My garage does primary duty as my woodworking shop, with M/C maintenance chores thrown in. I must be able to EASILY roll tools on mobile bases around, including in and out of the garage.

The good news:
A) The ability to support a car is moot. My F150 hasn't been into my garage in the three years I've lived there.... However, I do have point loads from the machines and my Handy Lift 1500 that can exceed 400lbs over a couple of square inches.
B) I rent, so I can take whatever I use with me.
c) Function is 100% top priority. If the only solution that suits my need is ugly, then ugly it is. Purdy is preferred, but not required.
D) Dealing with snow/rain melt/drainage off a car is moot. See A above.

Suggestions?

Damn....asking for miracles. What about getting mats to stand on, like the industrial rugs you see in different places. I have them in both garages. They get dirty, I'll vacuum them. They get filthy, they come out in the Spring or Summer and get power washed. Before I had a power washer myself, I would take them to the car wash, hang them up and clean them.

Definitely better for the dogs than bare concrete.

I can think of 2 options. The first is interlocking floor tile. It's rests on the floor and you can take it with you when you leave. The second is roll-out floor mats. G-floor has a small coined mat that is excellent for rolling things around. Again, you can roll these up and take them with you when you leave.
