Sorry about the pic! I'm a duma$$! I can't figure out how to resize it. I WILL figure it out though! I think it puts out 26 cfm at 175. The performance figures are very honest as opposed to most units...

Wait... you tapped power off of an outlet? What size wires does this thing require?

The noise is surprisingly quiet. My wife even commented that she thought it was going to be noisy and it was "so quiet".

It requires 240 @ 50 amps. The outlet is for the auto drain....

I should have said "receptacle". It looks like you tapped power off of the receptacle. I'm guessing you just ran the wires thru the conduit since that doesn't appear to be a 240v receptacle?

You are correct ! There are 7 wires in the conduit. Three of them are on a 20 amp 120 v circuit and 4 of them are on a 50 amp circuit. The 50 amp wires are MUCH bigger diameter of course hence the 1" conduit...

Looks like a nice compressor. inter and after coolers, tefc motor, mag starter....
I can't see your total install, but unless the main disconect for this unit is visable you need to have a disconect for the compressor near it becuse you hard wired it. If you had used a plug you can use that for the disconect. Did you use 6 or 8 gauge wire for the 50 amps??

I used 6 guage wire, 8 for the ground. I think the motor is Weg? Please elaborate on the connection since it is hardwired . I think what you are talking about is another box with an exterior switch on the side that flips up and down? Thanks for the help!

Yep that's it. They make really cheep disconects for air conditioners and that's all you have to use. I don't really like them much as they are not only cheep to buy ( you can get a 60 amp one for like $17.00) they are also made cheep. So I often wind up using a fused disconect as they are still not much $$ and are a nice step up in quality from the AC disconects. You DON'T need a fused disconect with your setup though as your magnetic starter is setup for overload protection of your motor.

Oil level looks to me to be just above middle of the sight glass, it goes down when running and comes back up when stopped. I'd say this is normal level.

The auto drain valve works great but it has scared the cr@p outta me about a dozen times already! It goes off every 45 minutes for 4 seconds. I still can't get used to it!

You should change the time, maybe to 2x a day. Once at night and once during the day.
