I've had the chance to use both the OTC and the Werner model and by far I must say Werner is a much user friendly and holds that baby rock solid. but at a $1700 price tag that baby aint cheap. One that I had good luck with and was cheap is just the Harbour Freight 2 ton floor trans jack. with a little modification it actually works great and $1500 cheaper cant go wrong, but if you are working with more than a few trans better opt for one that will get the job done easier.

I've got an RTO-610 in my one ton Silverado. At 350+ lbs, its a light one compared to most other Eaton/Fuller models. Anyway, I was thinking about welding up a mount for my floor Jack, but I ended up taking out the front seats and lifting it up with a cherry picker through the removable transfer tunnel.

I have done a couple of clutch jobs and twice R&R'd RTLO14618's with the Harbor Freight #4075 jack. It never gave any indication of overloading and did the job safely and smoothly on a concrete floor. If I had a real truck shop instead of in-house work I would be looking at the jacks already shown. I believe the HF jack is a copy of an earlier Hein-Werner.
