Eaton motion-sensor switch with stranded pigtails

I replaced one of the 3-way switches in our laundry room with an Eaton motion-sensor switch. It came with four stranded wires already connected, and that made stuffing the switch into the box so easy. Why aren't all switches and outlets 'pre-wired' like this? I'm thinking I might like to replace all my solid pigtails in my electric kit with stranded.

If you decide to replace the pigtails, I would recommend rotating all of the cover plates 180° at that time.

Yeah, I know, rotating cover plates usually solves all problems! Thinking about it, I guess 12 or 14 ga stranded resi pigtail wiring is not common in regular switches and outlets because of device connection issues.
