^paypal and ebay are now separate companies so when you put in your payment info you have options of credit card or paypal. im fairly certain you need to put the credit card directly into the payment instead of paypal.

Ebay recently changed their payment methods, used to be Paypal only, & before that there were other options. You can now pay with credit card directly through ebay without having to go through Paypal, that is if the seller accepts those payments. Some sellers only accept Paypal still.
