I fill the cart and wait for one of these codes to pop up, then buy. However, that also means that I buy stuff that I don't need right away.

Would use t, but eBay gives you the finger for wanting to use gift cards with promotions or eBay bucks, and can't buy gift cards, or pay (ridiculous) seller fees. Essentially they are only good on full price merchandise, totally making it worth less than cash/credit.

If you can't use coupons with a gift card, I consider the gift card a scam. Class action anyone?

Sure. Thanks for that assumption. I have vsited that site a few times from links directing there. Have only ever posted here. Ive posted several of these eBay coupons over the last year. Just sort of companies playing these kind of shenanigans.

Awww man, another one of these coupons comes up and the only seller with not insane pricing on caliper pistons for my Triumph has just one in stock. AARGH! :D

If you can't use these coupons to save some $, then you are not doing it right. I don't see the point of complaining about retail prices on ebay or restrictions on some items. How often does Amazon or Walmart send out what is basically a 20% off coupon? Plus, they charge taxes pretty much everywhere now whereas most ebay sellers don't so there is another % saved. I appreciate it any time someone posts these coupons as I would typically not be aware of them otherwise.

Its pretty simple but makes a great present. This is the second time I’ve used these coupons to buy them. Makes a good deal that much better!

Use cashback on top of the coupon; ebates always pays out for me. ebay is usually 1-6%. Use the firefox ad on button.

1. I check this forum daily. The coupon expiration is on Pacific time, so 9pm Eastern is 6pm Pacific, order before 9pm Eastern and you are golden.

2. I signed on for notifications for the ebay deals thread on this forum. Anytime someone posts in that thread, I get an email, mostly it is four cycle posting about ratchets and sockets.

3. Bookmark ebay website and check it daily. Just load the site and cycle through the banner ad at the top, there are usually 3 or 4 of them so it takes no time at all.
