eBay buyer snipes himself

I see this happen every once on awhile; with this auction though, the reserve wasn't met and still nobody won.

By contrast, this auction with the long pattern wrenches by the same seller got 10 bids; I guess nobody likes extra long wrenches.

Sure, he didn't "win" the wrenches, but so what- he tried to get them at the last minute (using a sniping program or not- who cares?)....

Ack, No. It is the extra long wrenches that are the best! This is why KS stuff is so good, you can get it in extra long editions.

A fair price for soon to be obsolete wrenches I can see a bit more for metrics but not more than 150.

I'm not sure if that qualifies as "Sniping" himself, all he did was throw up a last second bid in an attempt to win the auction. When I use to use ebay, even if I had already bid I would program a snipe bid with esnipe to try and make sure I won the item. Even then that wouldn't be sniping myself because unless someone else bid then my original bid would still stand.

i always snipe, i use to use esnipe but that has a fee. I've been using gixen.com now (free).
