Ebay gantry crane seller-----caution

I purchased a gantry similar to this one from this guy:

FWIW, please be advised that mine was delivered weeks late, the wrong size and was "promised" a $500 refund (in lieu of returning). Because I waited several weeks (continual excuses) for the refund, which never materialized, I lost my chance to post negative feedback on Ebay. Just a heads-up to those contemplating a gantry purchase.

Sorry to hear that. Looks like the guy has sold several of them over the past few years but this comment looks suspect in his description "and Not part of the previous Owner Business as of 7/24/2010".

I contacted the seller and it seems he has taken over for his Grandfather who has in the hospital for a couple months... Could be a legitimate builder, but thanks for the heads up, as I was looking into getting one in the near future...

Our company bought out the previous owner crane company after he passed away and are in Busing to Build Cranes that last Id read about his ebay sale and were over 700 units sold on there and the feed backs id read were very good I know how that would feel getting lied too and it makes me wonder if he was the one behind that sale , anyway Hope ever one has a gread day Mike

If your such a swell guy and not the pos old owner trying to pretend your under new ownership maybe make it right with someone who built your customer base.
