It looks like it is going to be a couple of months before I get some of these. Not every dealer was in Vegas to order these.

There's no way its only 90 inch pounds, that would be laughable. The milwaukee is rated at 1000 inch pounds and comes with lithium ion batteries for $30 less

well the original paper work I saw said 90. i could be very wrong though. I cant find any info on it from anyone yet. I am sure it will surface. It will remove nissan door hinge bolts and all of the 10mm bolts under the hood. that is the only place I tried it. I also used it to assemble my little girls 20inch bike. that was really helpful.

Will it be available as just a tool without a battery? i have the original cordless screwdriver/light combo and 2 batteries. I don't wrench for a living anymore & don't need several batteries.

Who need this tool? If it would have an adjustable Torque control...ok...but so...
Sorry...before I spend so much money for nothing, I can buy 3 1/4" air ratchets or 2 IR wrenches....also 7.2 Volts...thats nothing, every 20$ drill driver has more power.

And I don't must buy every wanna be innovative Snap-on tool.

Sorry that you need power tools for those jobs...

As a pro, I can't see any use of this.

Not everything needs big torque. I use my little 7.2 makita stick impact and my 10.8 hitachi probably more than I use my 1/2 in. I can pull ten screws out of a dash before you get the first one out with your screwdriver. Put ten screws back in before you clean the mess that greasy air hose left on the drivers seat.

I agree. Each tool has a use, some need it more than others.

Does it have the trigger like the 1/4, where you just pull down for cw and up for ccw action of the anvil?

Or is it like a drill?

As a pro, I can't believe you don't see the use in a tool like this.

I wasn't sold on the cts561 screwdriver either until I started using it. This thing (the ct561 impact) has enough power to remove fender bolts, t-stat housing bolts, battery hold down bolts, etc. It's ideal for under dash work on our police and fire vehicles at work, especially on stuff like radio mounts, and command consoles or laptop mounts that have tons of 1/4", 5/16, and 3/8" bolts. It doesn't replace my larger CT4410 impact, but it will also fit into a ton of places that the larger impact won't fit.

My only gripe is that it is 3/8" instead of 1/4" drive, but that is pretty minor. I think that if it was 1/4" drive, people wouldn't view it as an underpowered 3/8" impact, and look at it as more of a tool to remove those small fasteners that are snugged down tight, but not OMG tight. Think about it, 600in/lb is the same as 50ft/lb, which is pretty snug.

Really, it's one of those tools that suits some jobs perfectly, but isn't ideal for the way everybody works. If you don't do a ton of under-dash/trim work, or small engines, motorcycles, etc. it probably isn't for you.

For all the smaller bolts, I use a bosch 10.8 Volt bit driver (name?!?no clue yet) a 1/4'' adapter and my sockets, nice and I can control the torque settings...also...it cost ~100$
This Snap-on tool is overpriced and has no torque adjustment.

Right...was only a example from me...mostly I use this here

It's a big difference for me, to have the 100% right torque on the screw/bolt without to "guess".
