If it makes you feel better, I offered $38 and it was automatically rejected. Then I offered $40 and it was quickly accepted. After I bought the set, I saw the posting get updated to $40 with no best offer option. Then a couple days later, it was updated back to $48 with the best offer option.

I think $40 is the best they'll accept.

i like 'em. been using them for wide grips, if that makes sense. i haven't beat on them too much but they hold tight and the swivel jaw is nice to keep them parallel. I'm not throwing out any vicegrips but these are better than $5 HF VGs.

Anyone have feedback? Are they a suitable product for Vicegrips replacement? Or more customized to fab? Bodywork? Thanks.

i like 'em. been using them for wide grips, if that makes sense. i haven't beat on them too much but they hold tight and the swivel jaw is nice to keep them parallel. I'm not throwing out any vicegrips but these are better than $5 HF VGs.

I haven't had much chance to use them yet, but I like them better than the standard vice grips for general use. They feel nicer in the hand, and the jaws can be adjusted to open much wider when needed, as beelsr pointed out.

That said, they have more moving parts and a nicer painted finish than standard Vice Grips, so if I needed to hold something together while welding or banging on whatever it is, I'd probably reach for standard locking pliers.

I had to do a lot of searching thru eBay for a USA made metric combo wrench set and I hit paydirt when I came across this listing from sellular216 aka HandToolsForLess.He forgot to put NAPA at the listing title and so a lot of folks just breezed past the Professional Series 14 Piece Polished Metric Wrench Set title.After reading the listing carefully,I realized there were full polish USA made wrenches.My guess was they were made by Armstrong,which has been borne out so far.I ordered them and got them earlier this week.Since it was missing a 17mm,I was able to find a matching KD branded 17mm wrench from Cripe Distributing.I got that yesterday and it is a perfect match,and now all is well,I have a complete set of USA made Metric wrenches at a bargain price.I want to share with you guys since there is only 1 set left.I am thinking about a separate thread for this deal.

I tend to agree. in the change example, the Company isn't the one who pays for this, it is the employee, one way or the other (when the register comes up 20$ short).

I imagine that someone somewhere opened a shipping box and found one set, when they ordered three. . . . . . was there a packing slip with someone else's name on it?

now, it isn't your mistake, and they should foot the bill for sending them back if they want them (or even sending them directly to the correct customer, if that is what they want).
