Another interesting product, it's a 3/4" drive 36" long torque wrench, made in USA, for $69 with free shipping. It's listed as a breaker bar, but it appears to me to be a click-type torque-wrench with a very high preset torque. I don't have anything I can test with to see what torque it tops out at, so I've just been using it as a large breaker bar.

I contacted Central Tools support, and at first, they didn't recognize the model number as being one of their tools. After I sent them some pictures though, they confirmed that it was in fact one of their tools from around the 1950s, and so it was older than their computers had records for. In other words, they couldn't tell me anything about it either.

I looked up the patent numbers that are stamped on the handle, and they're all patents for torque-limiting mechanisms, like in a torque wrench.

Milwaukee 48-22-2330 Compact 8 IN 1 Ratchet Multi Bit Driver New & Ships Free

I check this seller often, and have watched this item for a few weeks. it said "more than 10 available" until today, it appears he has sold 34, and has six left. interestingly, it seems that the number sold would never go up by one, it was aways three or four at a time, and then sit for a day or two. I kind of assume this was because people were buying more than one at a time.

I had hoped that ebay would offer a 15% off coupon, and this was one of the items in my cart. it is a great price, and with free shipping . . . . .. but 15% is 15% . . . . anyway, I didn't want to wait too long and miss out completely, so I pulled the trigger, and now am sharing with you in case you want to join in.

anyway, he is a great seller, wraps things exceptional well, and ships quickly.

[UPDATE: "more than 10 available" again.]

If you click on the red colored "** Sold" next to how many are available, you will see when and how frequently the item was purchased. It does not go back forever, but shows the most recent purchases.

A52, thanks for the post on the stubby, I did buy 2, one for me and one for my son's toolbox. It will be handy for our daughter in law who is the queen of IKEA furniture assembly lol.
Super Sport, I have done ebay for over 20 years and also never knew the link for the sales pace, thanks.

There is an Ebay bucks promotion going on, but only to targeted accounts. 10% in bucks on the app, 8% on the website. Starts at 5:00AM PT on February 4, 2019 and ends at 11:59PM PT on February 5, 2019.

My understanding is that if you are eligible you will see the offer on the homepage. What is odd is that I got a notification on my phone earlier today, but as far as I can tell my account isn't eligible.

This cannot be more true even IKEA people do not know that they use pozi drive. IKEA really needs to start selling pozi drive bits or drivers. I have facom 15 piece screw drivers with 3 pozi drivers never thought I would use them except my wife started buying kids furniture at IKEA.

please forgive this minor diversion, but I have a question about ebay.

as a seller, when you receive a "best offer", do you know the identity of the person making the offer?

after it all plays out, if you change your mind about the last offer you declined, is there any way to roll it back?

It tells you their user name and location. Ebay has added a feature to send an offer to somebody, I believe you would have to do it through messages.

Yes, in that you know their ebay username. But nothing else.

No. However, the person whose offer you declined could make you another offer for the same amount you originally declined.

I thought I remember eBay doing a Presidents Day coupon last year, so I looked at my old emails. Sure enough, they had a 20% off last year. The email no longer loaded the details, but I have a feeling that was for limited sellers only, as usually 20% off is for select sellers (like CPO who raises their prices) and 15% is for all-sellers.

thought I'd mention ahead of time for people who may need to submit offers. I can't guarantee it will happen again, but there has been a drought of eBay coupons for a while now

New CARDINAL SPEED VISE COMBINATION JAW PLATES No. 3-B $18.95 + shipping

A lot of the Cardinal Speed vises for drill presses were purchased without the combination jaw plate option. These are really nice for holding round objects horizontally or vertically.

check your ebay messages:

8% in ebay bucks. good until 2/20/19, min 25$. 6% no minimum.

I am sure it is limited to specific accounts, but it might include you.

it isn't enough for the things I have in my cart. now, if they did a 15% off this afternoon, and let me stack them . . . ..

Thanks for the post. I got a set of the metric wrenches. My son needs a set.

The seller has a lot of nice NAPA tools, much of it USA. Good find.

Thanks, Bruce

Everything sellular sells is a good deal imo. I just got a $100 package from him last week. Minty US NAPA impact sockets. The all steel ball pein is a steal, too, imo.
