@Madjik Man -
RE: "Are those deep offsets? I already have a set of 45* but am looking for some deeper ones."

I cannot answer that question.
That set doesn't appear in the catalogs I have.
They are definitely "offset".
I do know that Indestro's SAE double-end offset wrenches were touted as "45° offset".

Photo below. I don't know where mine are so I can't take a "sideways" shot.

If you're looking for super-deep, take a look at Elora, Stahlwille, or Hazet. I have a set of Eloras that seem a bit more radical than my SAE stuff. The Germans don't mess around when it comes to "offset".

Yeah I have the Stahlwille 75* offset set bookmarked but the price on these Indestros are hard to beat.

Walden 4051 3/8 drive bullet handle ratchet. $12.99 plus shipping. Very cool but not my thing.

Thanks, I picked that one up. I love the bullet handled ratchets, but they are typically 4-5x that cost. Glad I have on in the collection now.

Sweet, glad to hear it! I’ve seen people excited about this model on here before so figured someone would appreciate it at this price. I agree about the handle and wish a modern company would make one like it.

One of my favorite drill press vises - the Heinrich model 20. My current company has one and they are very nice.

- 6” wide stepped replaceable jaws
- built in V groove for round stock
- 10” max opening
- only 22 lbs. Light enough to easily lift off for table height adjustment
- fits nicely on a 15 inch drill press table
- US made

These tend to be pretty expressive new or cheap and all drilled up.

there are two new old stock ones on EBay for $186.20 each + shipping

this guy's liquidating some chicom's inverter welder inventory. I lowballed him for a 200A hf AC/DC TIG for 180$ and a multiprocess 200A MIG for 145$

He was a taker at those offers so may play ball even lower. I'm fairly happy w/both....I've rigged up a 32$ pedal for the tig. The MIG is built like a tank.

Which models? Did you just message him with offers, I did not see offer buttons on his listings.

Which would you recommend for someone wanting to learn TIG?

Did he accept those offer’s including shipping or did you pay shipping on top of what you listed?

These were the models:

The MIG is dead simple (synergic) w/only 20% voltage adjustment from the machine's calculated. Great starter welder imo. The TIG may not be the best starter since you'll have to adapt a pedal and the weld ramp up/ramp down/post flow etc you have to navigate thru a menu instead of just turning knobs on a diagram. It's tiny and deal was good enough for me to try (AC capable w/hf after all). There's a bad video review on youtube but I didn't have that guy's issues and ebay buyer reviews on the seller seemed to confirm they were happy w/the machine. Maybe to answer the question though....the multi you'll have to buy a tig torch w/a valve and lift start sux plus DC only (no aluminum)....I'd much rather learn on the tig machine w/hf than the multi machine.

The MIG is also spool gun capable in case you don't want to TIG aluminum but would rather MIG it. You'll have to adapt something as I can't find much accessories for this brand. Nice Tweco whip by North weld though.

I was aware of the shipping and lowballed him on the price only (paid shipping). Again, there was no back and forth so he may take lower than what I offered. To answer the question, ebay introduced a "best offer" option a few yrs ago, I didn't message him prior.

Here's links to the manuals:

Cheapish 50' 30A extension cord (RV), dryer plugs. I haven't received it yet to confirm gauge....I'll likely be chopping one end to add welder ends.

These are very nice Made In Italy ratchets for forty bucks. Maybe I'm easily impressed but I think that's a pretty sweet deal.

It’s my most reached for ratchet. It is made in Italy if it maters. I think I paid $70 for mine. The F in the part number frequently means France, or FACOM or something like that, even though the ratchets have been made in Italy for quite some time.

I'm in for one, thanks for the heads-up! My only 3/8 flex ratchet is a 40-year old KMart Benchtop brand. It's actually not that bad, but I've been looking for the right opportunity to upgrade.

Hate to say but I'm worried it might be one of these: https://www.ebay.com/p/1622270415
based on how the thumbwheel is the same diameter as the rest of the head rather than tapering in like the facom made ones do. though it's a stock image so they may have just posted a picture of the wrong one

That one has a different serial number than the ebay listing I referenced. The one I referenced has this number:

You may be right but every listing I looked at showed the same ratchet. We'll see. I ordered one before I posted.

That makes sense. I hope they are just using an old stock image, I know companies do that sometimes. Let me know what you get because I may have to follow your lead and get one

I personally prefer the older made in USA ones as pictured. The built-in thumbwheels is functional so makes driving/backing out bolts easier. I bought an updated facom too thinking it was the same general design but if I recall, it's just a directional switch.

Craftsman used to have this same setup years ago and they phased it out for some reason.

I believe you are correct. I have a couple of DeWalt ratchets that I bought because a few respected people were praising the mechanism. I really do like the mechanism although not crazy about the DeWalt squarish handle. The wheel does not function as a thumbwheel, though. It's only a directional switch.

Those Facom 3/8 ratchets are way under-rated. They are great everyday use ratchets, I have the regular 3/8 and its so nice to actually use. Fine tooth, easy to hold on to, switches directs without a lever (but not by accident). Just a great usable tool.

Brand New DeWalt 20 Volt 20v Max Brushless 3/8" Compact Impact Wrench DCF890B $123.99 It's a light duty unit at 2lbs but I don't always need my 5lb 1/2 drive unit. Not a bad price in my opinion

This seller is down in The Villages, has a lot of tools presumably estate or downsizing buys.

I thought this 1/2 Indestro ratchet looked pretty nice for about $25 delivered, but I am not really familiar with market for these.

But you might find something else.

Edit: lightly used socket set to go with the ratchet:

Stahlwille 3/8” drive locking flex head ratchet, $75 + shipping. First time I’ve seen one of these on the used market. Seller sent me an offer for $70 but I don’t need this and just bookmarked it out of curiosity. Could probably bargain a bit lower

$20 for USA Craftsman Metric/Standard sockets with extension bars and swivel. Seems like a decent deal to me....

That's the starting bid. If no one bids it up, that's a good deal. Watch and see what happens.
