EDIT 08/19/24 11:00 PDT:

note from Nelson Bowers regarding the little "Amigo" driver (see post #5359 just above)

"may want to mention on the megapro drivers that shipping is free on every additional driver. You only pay the 5.99 shipping once for any quantity."

So... ONE is going to cost you NINE bucks. TWO is going to cost you TWELVE bucks. THREE is going to cost you FIFTEEN bucks.
I ordered four. I'm starting to think he really wants to unload these.

Looks like they raised shipping prices, now it is $5.99 plus $0.50 for each additional driver: "Huge Savings! Only 50 Cents shipping per additional driver!"

Still a great deal!

^ OH! so somebody hit him with an order for a couple dozen probably and he bumped the shipping up a bit... understandable.
Still crazy cheap. He told me in an email he just wants to be rid of them- apparently he has hundreds of them in stock.
I have eight of them on the way.
Gave a few out for "Secret Santa" last Christmas and the recipients seemed happy with them (at least here locally.)

Just got an email from Mr. Bowers on this. He has revised the shipping terms on this item again:
Amigo 7-in-One Bit Driver (standard)
and
Amigo 7-in-One Bit Driver (stubby)

$2.99 each + $5.99 shipping

I just put NINE of them in my "cart", and shipping cost is still $5.99 - so disregard the "additional 50 cents" deal in the post above - apparently that was some glitch in the way he set up that page on that item. :dunno:

At any rate: killer price with dirt-cheap shipping. NOT a bad product either.
I believe I sent these to Blake, Cody, and possibly 83VillageRepair - not sure what they thought of them.
My buddy liked his, even in Dolly Parton Powder Pink.

^ On Don's advice, I switched everything from "auction" to "buy now", which resulted in sales increasing.
The "free shipping" is just a marketing hook - I have no scruples when it comes to selling. I have my shipping costs (and ebay's fees) padded into my prices, which is why they may appear a bit high at first glance.
FWIW, since eBay decided to break the search function, I've been finding myself more and more checking the 'free shipping' option to filter out results by price since that function keeps getting worse on its own.

EDIT- Sold. I hope someone here got it.

Knipex 8pc forged steel body piano wire tipped snap ring plier set. $122.50 shipped. The same set is currently $181 on Amazon, so this Ebay listing would save you 32% off the Amazon price.

They appear almost new to me. I would buy it myself, but I already own this set.

I own a mag drill, drill presses, plasma cutter, but this deal seemed too good to pass up (I chose the smaller/lighter one despite the fork not being removable):

punch does not work w/with provided pump fittings and now cheaper at 88$. Punch also cheaper from vevor @ 99$ (links below). Sorting out fitting situation now.

There are several pump options out there but out of the air assisted ones (cheapest), this has the correct fittings I believe. If you can swing it, the electric hydraulic ones are much faster and no air is required.

Honorable mentions (no air required):

So did anyone get in on the Snap-On extra long hard handle flex head ratchets from Guangdong China, from seller with 0 feedback. $50 shipped. “Hmmmm….” as my 1-1/2 yr old daughter would say. Tempting, but I didn’t.

^ LOTS of people have paid up to $80 for that exact same set.
The going rate for the S-K equivalent is about $75-$90.
I found some years ago made by ProAmerica that a guy had on a close-out for $12.00 a set. They had a matte, grainy finish, but the broaching was excellent. Gave that set to my buddy.
Best price on that set for the last three years has been about $57 from WhatChaMaCallItTools out of Oklahoma City.
I already own a set so I don't need any more.

I thought the Duro Indestro set looked familiar. I also bought the ProAmerica set back in 2015 for $12.00. I don't ever remember using them, but they seemed to be good quality.

Thats who I bought from. Both sellers are from Oklahoma. I wonder if they are the same, just different accounts. I bought mine and a set for my son. I made an offer for 2 at $50 each and they accepted.

The ProAmerica models were excellent quality. They just weren't as nicely finished as the Duro-Indestro or S-K equivalents.

heads up, gentlemen:

check him out. he just posted all that stuff today. some interesting vintage items. starting bid $1.50 on everything.

( NO idea why that is showing up as "Security Measure" - I've noticed a LOT of really screwy **** going on with ebay's website lately. )

(* I am absolutely amazed at how completely mindless the "AI" generated item descriptions are on ebay. Mind-numbingly stupid stuff. *)
Lots of flowery words that offer zero information but it's not already in the title... Practice the art of saying nothing at all with as many words as possible

I never use the AI generated text even though I usually generate it just to see what it says

Precisely.
Wonder what I would get if I put up any of my cheapie offshore-sourced stuff and let the "AI" bot write the ad for me.

I feel sorry for the people who are dumb enough to buy into this kind of ****, and sorrier for those sitting at their keyboards thinking this is a way to market product or replace what used to be referred to as "customer service". Ebay is really pushing trying to make it work - try to get through to one of their "customer service" people on the phone and you have to first interact with the mindless "help bot" (or whatever the hell they call it.)

Heinrich model 30 drill press vise
8” wide jaws
$99 + shipping (new these are closer to $600 + shipping)

I really like this vise for bigger drill presses. Stepped jaws to make it easy to drill through the part and not the base of the vise. Lighter weight and more compact than the Heinrich grip master vises.

Not at all sure this is any sort of "Hot Deal", but today was the first time I've seen anything like this that wasn't insanely expensive:

These are made in various sizes, of course. Some are chrome plated, but the chrome ones I looked at don't have the hole in the "elbow" part - these dull gray "Julong" units were the only ones I saw that had the hole.
I put a dozen different types/brands/sizes on my "watch list", which usually brings more similar items out of the woodwork on subsequent visits. Be interesting to see what turns up over the next couple weeks while I'm away.
In the meantime, if anyone has tried these, speak up.... I can see where owning a few of these might have its advantages.

Should be back the 23rd. BK

Agree 100%.....very sad with the direction that society as a whole has been headed. Everything is based on convenience and making LOTS of folks lazy.

Looks like this unit is a five pocket roll-up made of "quality durable material" manufactured in an "unknown" country or region.
Metal zippers.
$10.45 including shipping OBO.
This is the cheapest one that comes up for me in their "suggested items".

(still vacillating on this one.... ) :headscrat

I find the pouches with the full across zipper much easier to get things in and out and not catch items, but that is a tough price point to beat.

For Ingersoll Rand 20v lovers.

Was shopping for a bare tool W3111 1/4" bit impact driver and came across this W3111-K22, 2 battery kit with charger for almost the same price. Quite a deal IMO. 5 available at this time.

Code HOLIDAYCASHCO brings an extra 10% off, for a total of $179.99 plus tax, free shipping.
