That was a no brainer even for me. I've got one one the way. Thanks to the OP.

if you decide to get more (they have various handle lengths and the traditional 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 in) sizes, ebay is a better location that amazon. same vendor, but prices cycle on ebay a lot. i recently got a 25" long 1/2" flex head. it was at 75$ for a month or so, and then dropped to 40$.

also, these are the Powerbuilt Pro models only. they also offer regular Powerbuilt models, which i have not purchased, and paid no attention to. they might be the greatest thing, but i dont need more ratchets with "snap on" handles.

Sweet,

Would you be willing post up your experiences with installation?

After reading a bunch of reviews on the opener I'd like to hear the story of a complete install.

Sure thing! It will be a few weeks before I can get to starting to install, but from what I've heard, usually takes around 2 hours. It will probably take me a little longer. I have the drywall removed and plan to add studs where the opener mounts. Also had an outlet added right below where it will go ahead of time.

Got the 9" powerbuilt 1/4" drive ratchet yesterday, seems very well made.

Well worth purchasing one if you need a quarter inch ratchet. Please note these are quick release and they are a flex head but it has a very nice detent as well so even if you don't need a flex head in other words the detent keeps it nice and straight. I am ever so tempted to also purchase the other quarter inch ratchet and also the 3/8 inch ratchet in that line. Please do not start a petition to revoke my man card but I do not need them flame on LMAO.................. LOL. Also I have spent a little too much this month on quote-unquote toys.

there is a banner on the ebay homepage offering 10% ebay bucks when using the app (8% on the site). you need to click through the banner to activate it. in the past these were not one time things, but were good for all orders placed in the window.

not as good as 15% off, but the minimum is 25$, which might make up for it.

i hate the app. last time they offered this, i used the site to browse around, and put things in the cart, and then used the app to purchase. much easier, although likely not what they intend.

UPDATE: 1) only to registered and offered ebay bucks enrolled users (check your messages on your ebay account), 2) the 25$ applies to each item, not the cart.

i got an offer in the front page banner for 10% in ebay bucks on 50$ min purchase on the app, and 8% using the web site until august 30. these are often limited to specific users. check your messages onsite to see if you can enable this offer.

sometimes they offer two 15% off coupons close together at the end of the month. i wonder if they will do the same now, with this offer also available.

Thank you sir.

Just found out the hard way, the code can only be used once...oh well, should have known.

Saved $30 anyway, MUCH appreciated.

That got me too, luckily I was smart enough to bundle a couple orders for the first try and only lost out on some last minute ideas later in the day...

ebay bucks: 10% on app, 8% on web site, until the 20th.

got a message on ebay, and there was a banner on the home page.

possibly not for everyone, but worth checking if you do ebay bucks.

I just started the "ebay bucks" program and I've got $16 coming my way. Free money on purchases I was going to make anyway.....what's not to like? Seems like I buy more on ebay lately than Amazon.

This is irritating, they aren't being upfront about what qualifies. I dropped something into my cart and went to checkout, tried to apply the code and the item was not eligible. According to their instructions, you have to go to checkout to see if it qualifies.

If you don't see the Paypal Logo under "Payments", then it should work.
Finding a seller that takes the new Managed Payments isn't easy.

Ebay isn't giving much incentive to sellers to switch. Processing fees are just slightly lower, and you cannot opt back out or accept Paypal. I was invited to try it but decided against it. I think they will eventually force everyone to switch over.

I read on SD that you can try searching "managed payments" and include the description to find listings adverising that they accept that payment method.
