I’m looking to buy one of the Graco airless paint sprayers, and I found them on eBay for significantly cheaper than anywhere else. I have never purchased anything from eBay and I’m a little leery of it. The thing is it looks to save me somewhere around $60-80, so I can’t ignore the option. I know to check seller feedback etc, but anything else I need to consider? I also know if I have a problem with it I will only be able to deal with Graco.

Which model? I was just checking them out Saturday at Farm & Fleet after watching a guy absolutely demolish a trailer paint job w /the bigger one (I was moreso thinking house) and they were all on sale, which was nice.

eBay/Paypal will protect you if anything is wrong w/ it; generally fakes are from <20 feedback sellers with no other listings..

I’m looking at the Truecoat 360 VSP. You planning on getting one?

eBay is great. I am saying that both as a buyer and seller. Over 15 years i have had only a few issues. But eBay's guarantees have been pretty good, siding on the side of the buyer rather than the seller most of the time.

Make sure it's located in the US and double check the delivery time estimate.

Post up the auction link and we'll say if it's a good seller and whatnot.

I buy lots of stuff on eBay and have rarely had any issues and have never had something that wasn't resolved to my liking (as a buyer).

The seller in your link has 1800+ feedbacks with 100% rating. With that and eBay's very generous buyer protection I would have no concern at all buying from that seller.

You may not get a manufacturer's warranty unless the item was purchased from an "authorized distributor". Ebay seller's are usually not authorized distributors.

Better read the fine print if warranty is important.

Agreed

OP, probably not until I have a project that could justify it. (house?)
