I believe this was a milling machine base. I bought it for $40 with an old school drill press mounted on top. Ill get some pics of that. But I am really happy with this machine base. Its cast iron and weighs about 200-250 lbs or so.

Any ideas of value. Any ideas what to do with it?

My wife was eyeballing the grinder. It did have a nice stand. I was there just as they were closing down and the guy was giving stuff away. I bought the entire shelf of nuts and bolts for $20. Thousands. We filled our SUV with stuff. Spent a little over $100 but the SUV was full.

That was a good sale!

It would make a great base for a milling machine or drill press. Not everything needs to be "repurposed"

I have bases for all my machines currently. So this is likely to be repurposed. Even the drill press that was on it was technically "repurposed". I dont have room for a milling machine.

But are the other bases this cool? I'm picturing it with a big disc sander (12" or bigger) or maybe a big vertical belt sander.

As mentioned, would work well for a small mill, a drill press, grinder, or disc sander. Myself, I'd replace the top with a piece of steel plate, and mount a vise to it. Should end up with a nice balance between stability and mobility.
