There are a ton of great deals, and even some steals, on eBay.
I haven't seen a thread quite like this yet, and I think it would make a lot of GJ's happy to have a place to show off their steals & deals!

Feel free to list them here for us all to benefit from!

The easiest way:
Post "Steal or Deal" First, then go down and describe & link.
Steal: What you got at ** price, etc.
Deal: What's still available at ** price.

This looks to be a decent ratchet set for the beginner, they even look like SO to an extent!
If anyone has one, please speak up! Most of use would jump on them, seeing as $20 shipped you can't really go wrong!

& I'm sure the right guy would love these...

I have a friend who's decidedly a non-wrencher, but has the AC Delco ratchets. They're coarse tooth, but they work and feel good in the hand. I've used them quite a bit working on his stuff in his garage.

I got a great deal on some Snap on zero degree performance wrenches. 10-19 No 18 or 20 though. $92 shipped. Steal for sure because the set sells for $250 or something like that and this set looks hardly used and its the new style. They will come in handy for sure.

I lost out on a starrett punch set a few weeks back. No bids, I made an initial bid, bookmarked it, completely forgot to check it when it was getting ready to close. One person out bid me. Finally sold for $3.99 SHIPPED :(

Same seller listed another set with a BIN for $45.99

I am always finding good deals on locks. Sometimes used and abused, sometimes brand new in the box!

As in padlocks?

I hate it when that happens. :lol_hitti

From the title, I thought this thread was to report stolen merchandise being fenced on eBay... :dunno:

Nope, just good deals to be had on ebay! Like continuous listings.

lol, I'm always on the hunt for some good deals... so I'll post up the ones I feel as though I won't be going after lol

That or when there are many "buy it now" listings.

I would imagine all sorts of estate locks, etc come up.

Very cool hobby. Do all your boxes have 1 key?

I just have a Craftsman top chest and rollaway, the keys are long gone! I keep all my aerosol sprays in the lid so I don't need to close it. The rollaway lock would work if I had a key, but I am not worried about my dad taking my tools :p

outbid you at $3.99???

i am all for waiting for the last second too, but i will put a decent bid on something from the get go. something like that would probably get a $10 start from me. then check near the end if i remember. i wouldnt risk it at $1 or $2 bucks... put it a decent but low bid of 10 or 15 and let the auto bid handle it. still a steal at that price.

Alright Farmall, I appreciate what your doin here so Ill give up a good one. Over the past year or so I've scored on a few hot deals from GJ leads, most recently the free Bondhus mini ball drivers from Carbide Processing that arrived today.

Anyhow, I ALMOST bought this one and its a steal if you can use them as it come with the sockets. For those interested, please note shipping leadtimes before you buy.

Bondhus Prohold Torx with sockets $18 shipped

I have browsed a few of their items, but the shipping always kills it for me. I have heard folks say they can get them to ship flat rate on a lot of items, but I have no experience with that. I was looking at a goofy size socket I needed. Socket was <$2, shipping was ~$6 :lol_hitti

The shipping charge is high upfront but they return the difference from actual to you. At least in my experience.

That's really interesting as I had not heard of a SS hose. But looking at the ad it seems like it's a PVC hose inside an SS conduit?
Still a neat idea!

yes i have a different brand - for years now still in use.

The shell doesn't absorb heat so water coming out is not cooked and it is durable, i guess uv doesn't get to the interior hose, and they don't kink up. - a win win win. Taking a chance on these.
