My pop's has had a similar looking Huot top box, but his is a smooth top with a retractable front cover. I believe a lot of boxes from this era were manufactured and re-branded to different tool companies.

The pics are off the web, but it's about the same as my dad's, but it has the same pulls as the one you posted.
