I'm not a Snap On guy, so I assume this is going for more than new off the truck...........I bought a rollaway recently from a guy who says he often sells used Snap On overseas, mostly Japan. If Ebay is your only avenue which to purchase Snap On, just kind of have to bite the bullet........If you want to play, you must pay $$$.
Maybe folks here in the states just take it for granted the truck will show up.

the 4pc mini pick set [SGASA204A] is another offender. After they were talked about here i stuck it in my saved searches and have seen well over a dozen auctions end for $40-$50 over the last few months, most were domestic shipping only. [$42 is the every day list price from SO].

The dual 80 comfort grip ratchets seem to get pretty close to their list regularly as well.

i just bid $200.00 on it and still got out bid....wtf?

Can I ask why you would bid 200 plus shipping when you can get it new for 127 and free shipping?

I was looking for a double flare brake line kit and several of the snap on 50 dollar ones sold for 60-70 bucks on ebay. It's pretty crazy when people don't even check what they are new before bidding.

Not just overseas, I'd be willing to bet it's Japan. They eat that Snap On up and they've apparently got more Yen than sense.

I block foreign bidders when I sell on eBay and I still had hell with the last Snap On I sold, because they're getting around that by having US-based forwarders who buy the stuff on behalf of Japanese bidders and then ship it over. I like to never got them pay, had to file an unpaid item complaint to get them to finally pay up. When I sold the second one I blocked that freight forwarder, and they got me again - apparently they have like a dozen different eBay IDs.

Oh, and in both cases, the items sold for more than double full Snap On retail.

Could be a scammer that plans to file a "item not as described" after receiving it...:mad:

Price is not an issue for someone that does not intend to pay.

If only ebay was smart enough to see what it has become... :(:(
