My son & I recieved a box today, opened it and there were bindles of wrenches rapped in sulifane wrap. My son noticed another box inside I thought was for packing, seemed to be full of burrrito wrapped tools too.
Here are our pics so far. Looks like lunch time in front of the shop with a roach-coach!

For some reason, I love these eBay tool lots. I picked up a 25lb box of new bits and when it arrived it was like the greatest day of my life. Digging through it and seeing all my "winnings!" congrats and enjoy the time opening them.

The seller had one mor Lot of wrench's so I had bid on them too. They had 5 bids at ending, so I had to pay 14.00 this time including shipping.

Going through them I have only one wrench that reads SEARS. Is this older then the Craftsman line or what?

No, Sears sold "Sears" brand tools in the '70s, '80s and early '90s. I believe they fell under fire by wrongly classifying tools as "Made in USA" by leveraging the Craftsman name with their "Sears" tools. I've got some "Sears" sockets/tools and the are all pretty crummy. Sears|Craftsman labeled tools are usually good, but the "Sears" ones are pretty poor. Note, most "Sears" brand tools are made in Japan which, in the '70s was a HUGE sign for "junky". But that's LONG before my time...

They're basically doing the same thing now with the China made Craftsman hard-line tools. Leveraging the Craftsman name but STILL keeping *some* Made in USA Craftsman tools so the consumer assumes they are all still the quality of a bygone era...but that's a different story.

Nice score on those wrenches! How come I never find good stuff/lots like that :( I always end up out-bid and stuck without a good tool surplus. I've gotten some decent deals at garage sales and auctions but I don't make it to many of those either.
