Hello:
ECHO has been running one day sales for some time now. I stumbled on one of the old 20% sale at my Kubota dealer. I got a CS-590 for $320.00 and another something I can't remember what. We are a farm and do some landscaping for the property management side of the empire. Lots of OPE all brands.
In any case, I will tell you few pros cut with a stock saw. We have had some great results with ECHO saws. At the very least pull the limiter caps and fatten up the high speed mixture. Here is the link for the sale dates and this years Dealers.

PS. We run 25:1 mixture, it works wonders with 100% gasoline. I am still cutting with a 30+ year old J-Red 625 original top end, runs like the day I bought it. 20 or 24 inch Total Super Bar 3/8" pitch, .058 gauge, full chisel chain, 7 tooth sprocket, a great felling/bucking saw. This spring, new clutch/sprocket, bars and changing to .050 gauge. Chains and bars are easier to find in .050 gauge.
Here is a link to Baileys for the saw guys.
