echo eg 5500 generator

I have an opportunity to pick up an echo eg5500-e generator for cheap money. I've been searching the web and can't find anything about it other than a parts manual. If anyone knows any specs on it, it would be greatly appreciated

Here's their website: http://www.echogroupinc.com/ It appears they mainly resell other brand names, I couldn't find a reference to that model number. You could give them a call.

I'm going to call them during the week. I can find parts diagrams but not much else. It runs good and everything works plus my house is small so I'm probably going to grab it up.

I believe these were built by Makita. They used a Robin engine.

If this is the unit I think it is, you will find it is a very robust unit. One of the big rental places around here rents them out. They would not rent them if they didn't stand up well.
