and

PB-250LNAA (on sale $149.00 and bad reviews)

anyone know the difference and/or does anyone have one?

One has a 30 day return, other does not. I'm sure Home Depot will take either back?? Maybe return to echo? The fuel tank is bigger on the NAA model. Also the nozzle on the LN is interchange. And also the LN is EPA approved, the NAA is not. And the size, dimensions.

I will post my model number this evening but it's got to be 10 years old.

Both my blower and trimmer are Echo and they have always started. My FIL moved three years ago and gave me 5 gallons of mixed gas and these still run on it. I never drain them if fuel and as long as I pump the primer bulb till their stiff they start right up.

My trimmer is echo as well. It's a beast. But there blowers are all over the place when it comes to reviews. Not sure which one to get.

Need something for household and handheld. Also something with power and does the job. Not just make a **** load of noise and doesn't blow worth a ****. Not looking to spend $200 bucks either. I don't mind 160 give or take.

Anyone has some other suggestions???

I've got this one:

http://www.homedepot.com/p/ECHO-165-mph-391-CFM-Gas-Shredder-Vacuum-ES-250/202827820

I really like, been using it for couple years now... so far so good. Didn't think I'd ever use the mulching feature since we don't have that many leaves but I end up just mulching the leaves back into the yard. Works great and does a really fast job.

ugh edit for the 3rd time. stupid phone.

what tube do they give you for the blower part? wouldnt that large one not blow a strong stream of air?

also doesnt that have the same motor and carb as the PB models? wouldnt it just be cheaper i get that instead?

I work in the outdoor equipment industry everyday. I have sold Stihl,Echo, shindawia, and husky. I believe that echo quality has declined in the past couple of years. I wrench on them daily if I were looking at a price point blower I'd recommend the Stihl bg55 at a 149.99 it's rock solid built in Virginia Beach, Via. More importantly the warranty is second to none. I have a heck of a time getting echo's warranties approved, its a marathon. I've never had a Stihl claim denied. Unfortunately it's my belief echo has lowered quality to hit the box store price points and left servicing dealers in the cold.

When I went to buy a new leaf blower the first question I was asked was if I was left or right handed. It seems that the air intakes on different brands are on opposite sides. And when using them your leg can block it causing less power. It seems Stihl is on the right side while Echo is on the left. I bought a Stihl bg55 and am well pleased with it.

Had echo, tops this was 3 years ago. Quality was not nearly as good as previous lawn care items by echo Ive used. It broke (flywheel cracked after 3 years and wasnt worth fixing). Bought a redmax handheld, way nicer, easier to start and better built. Dad has one of those stick edgers he likes to use every week, it died last week with no warning. No idea what happened and I didnt care (he doesnt listen to me about maintaining anything). Bought a stihl to replace it WAY nicer.

Buy a pro one if you intend to keep this for awhile, WAY better built. Stihl, redmax husky or non homeowner echo.

Im spoiled, the only blower i will use are redmax Z series, specifically at least an 8000. Then again they areheavy duty back pack blowers. But they move A LOT of air.

I bought the 255 model before Xmas from an indecent shop. Same price as the HD and they had it in stock. Been really happy with it. Light weight and quiet compared to the $99 craftsman special that it replaced. Starts easier and seems to control the air flow better. The craftsman seemed to blow thing everywhere where as the echo controls the air flow to a more precise direction.

I've got three of the Hitachi Power Tools RB24EAP 23.9 CC Gas Blowers.

One for each barn. The refurb units are $79. at Bigskytool.com and they're the best hand style blowers I've had.

Got the biggest Stihl backpack unit for serious stuff like tipping over the dog.

So the narrow straight tube is what is used to blow the leaves (which they do not have pictured). Then you can remove that tube, attach the bent tube that would be attached to the bag, and then you attach the bigger straight tube onto the fan part (which is what they have pictured) which ***** and mulches the leaves. For the size and price I am quite pleased with it, does a great job blowing stuff and takes me just minutes to blow the sidewalks/driveway. I kinda wish I would have gotten their backpack version just because they look cool to me...haha My echo string trimmer is going strong as well.

Really like their products.

Echo makes some great products still but if you really want to up your game give redmax a try. The Komatsu Zenoah engines are awesome and super reliable. I have always had trouble with stihl power products even the chainsaws. My bg55 did everything but blow air due to hitting its stupid restrictor way to early in the rpm cycle. It was as if it was being choked out.
