Ecoloc PVC Floor Tiles

While searching for something else, I stumbled upon forum member Scottz5's garage floor in his "My work in progress" build thread and his posts in the "Let's See some 2 Car garages!" thread. The two pictures below are Scottz5's. It looked like a product that merited looking into, but his only clue to manufacturer of the tile was that it was marked "ISO 9001 Quality System made in Belgium".

It looks like it's made by Ecoloc, Ltd. Here's a youtube Ecoloc video by what appears to be a DIY'er and here's a youtube company video (neither in English). I'm not sure what the specific product is. I'm guessing it's the Decoloc, but the company has what appears to be more garage-applicable products too. The Ecoloc website also mentions that they'll do tiles with custom images.

If anyone has any Ecoloc information, reviews, or comparisons, please chime in. I wasn't able to find a U.S. distributor, but not everybody here is in America. :) They obviously have some presence, since it was available to ScottZ5, but it may have been that a foreign-based company imported something they were familiar with.

Disclaimer: I have no connection with Ecoloc. Someday I hope to have need of a similar product.

Note: ScottZ5 hasn't been active here for since 2008.

Disclaimer: I do have a connection to Ecoloc. The company that owns the company that owns my company also owns Ecoloc.

Additional disclaimer: I have absolutely no desire to sell anything to anyone at anytime.

T Square Tiles is the US distributor for Loctile / Ecocloc. I do not think they have a very extensive distribution network.

I have installed that stuff and tested its durability. It installs as easy as the youtube video shows and has great abrasion resistance. It is not designed specifically for garages, but I have seen it in heavy forklift traffic and it holds up well.

Thanks! I didn't really expect to find a U.S. distributor. The breadth of knowledge and experience here on GJ is amazing.

One thing in alberto's link that popped out was that it needed to be sealed after installation.

I have not seen sealers used. All of the PVC Tile floors I have seen were just hammered in place with a mallet and then you can beat them up right away. If you wreck a tile or two, you just pull them up and put in a new one.
