Hi, all. I've been lurking for just over a year reading up on some of the posts. Didn't have much to contribute so I laid back and just did a lot of reading.

I'm a retired Air Force fighter aircraft mechanic (1998). Worked for a military contractor for a few years after retirement. Moved to Las Vegas back in 2003. Worked about a year for Wally World as a Tire and Lube Tech; had to pay the bills so I wasn't being picky. Did a couple of years as a TSA Screener and Equipment Maintainer. Hated the screening position, but the equipment mantainer job wasn't too bad. Couldn't take it anymore, and decided to move on. Worked as an assembler for Lowe's for a few months until being hired on by the USPS a City Carrier (mailman); not rockert science by any means.

I have a basic electrical question to ask, but I'll post it in the correct forum.

Looking forward to contributing whenever I can.

Ed

Did you like your lowes job?

Actually I did. All I did was assemble products being displayed or sold and delivered to customers. Slow sales threaten the possible need to down size the work force. Same thing happening in the USPS too.
