Edges and Sides with Racedeck?

For my garage entrance, I got the racedeck edge pieces. What do I use for the sides and front of garage?

Complicating the issue is that I have cabinets that are floor to ceiling on the sides of 75% of the garage. Should I put some kind of sealant on the bottom level of those wooden cabinets or cover the entire side with some kind of rubber?

For the front and other sides of the garage should I put some kind of caulking at the edges of the garage concrete before putting the tile on?

Garage is bare concrete right now, no sealants/epoxy.

Hello

Most people trim their floors in, leaving a 1/4"-1/2" gap along the walls and then install covebase just above the floor for a great clean look. On the entrance, we have ramp edging which finishes off the floor nicely. Thanks for choosing RaceDeck

...or paint the concrete floor for a couple of inches near each wall/cabinet in the color of your outside tiles (mine were black). Then trim the tile to leave a half inch to one inch of the painted edge exposed. Looks good to me.

You can get some of that rubber baseboard and glue it to the stem wall. The bottom of the rubber baseboard sticks out about 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch so it would cover the gap nicely. If you can find the same color as the outside row of tiles it would match up and look really good.

I used the same approach to blend my tile into the wall.

Don't put your Racedeck floor hard to the edge, leave a gap because it WILL expand and contract with the seasons. If you install the floor too tight, its going to buckle in the summer when humidity is high. You won't noticed the gap on the edges after a few weeks. ( I painted the first 4" of my floor where the gap is located prior to installation).
