I'm thinking of putting down vct tile. Has anyone used some type of rubber edging where the tile meets the garage door? Or did you just leave the tile edge?

I used the VT8 profile, it protects the edge of the tile from chipping, and looks more finished that the VT5 that just butts up against the tile, leaving a crack for crud to go down into. I didn't get mine from Armstrong, i got it at a local flooring place, and it came on a rool... you could buy it by the foot so you don't have any seams and can do everything with one continuous piece. You glue it down with contact cement, and it really finishes off the job.

I was also getting ready to lay some VCT (black/silver checkerboard) next month when it warms up a little more and was thinking of this same topic. Thanks for the input as this information is very helpful!
