efflorescence on parging

Hi all.

I’m looking to do some parging as some of it has fallen off and noticed there is efflorescence where someone has touched up before me.

I would like to large the whole area so there are no patches. Will this efflorescence show through and if it does can I clean it off.

it means moisture has been present. Usually a little mild acid will remove it but you need to think thru where the moisture is coming from
