Einhell isn't sold in the USA. If any tools have made their way to the USA it's under a different brand name, and I'm unaware of it.

Here in Germany Einhell has the reputation of a tool brand with low/cheap quality, there are two lines, blue (cheap) and red (with slightly better quality).

I have a wet dry vacuum cleaner of doing his job….large&loud but ok.

About the Einhell compressors…:dunno:...but I think Monte knows more.

Einhell anglegrinders are ****. My friends have let the smoke out of many of those, I personally have never wasted my money on one.

Einhell is hit and miss, I had a car waxing buffer thingy from Einhell that was useable.

I would not buy a compressor from them. Maybe an accessory that I only need to use once.

My dad bought an MMA welder from Einhell that was advertised to have enough amps for 3.25 mm rods. It could hardly handle 2.5mm rods and every piece felt really cheap and low quality.

got the same only in red =)

I also have a Einhell compressor and that thing really is ****. Leaking oil, loud as hell, not very powerful .... also the angle grinder that I only bought for removing undercoating from a car wasnt worth anything - I had to warranty it 3 or 4 times until I gave up.

Sounds like the Harbor Freight of Germany. I would stay away, especially if you need something to bust the lugs on a tire

I have a einhell hammer drill that didn't last too long. It was one of the yellow coloured ones.

i think i would stay away from these really cheap 24 Liter compressors....If Einhell maybe i would choose one of the the red ones. I don´t know which other brands are common in the Netherlands but maybe visit some stores and check if they have compressors from Italy or if the compressor components are from a italian company (Fiac, Fini, Abac...) and if they use other quality parts like pressure switches from "Condor".

einhell just china junk rebranded these days.
You find lot of it same as ozito range, gmc range and usual scumbag buget online workshop equipment brands .
some items during some point probably better than others but unless you paying clearance prices it simply not worth gambling on known junk brands .

In brief, it’s predominantly junk.

Don’t know much about the history. Suspect it was originally a genuine German firm who got bought out in an attempt to add some credibility to crappy tools for the European market. It could be one of those made up brand names though!

You tend to find them at places like DIY shops who don’t offer an in-house brand, but want to offer something equally crappy.

In the U.K. you find them at Screwfix, which isn’t a good start as they’re not particularly cheap, but rather sell cheap stuff, which is different. Screwfix have their own brand, Titan. I actually have a big Titan hammer drill I got for a project. It was so cheap I treated it as disposable, but I’ve got to be honest it’s not a bad tool. Einhell seem to be a notch down from even the Titan.

I once used an Einhell angle grinder, and it was, without doubt, the crappiest and most dangerous tool I have ever used! I drove 12 miles to collect my own, then chucked the Einhell to protect future users...!
