Greetings from South Africa

I recently moved into a new house and am in the process of sorting out my 2 car garage. here are some pics of the progress so far. Keen to hear your thoughts and suggestions

Im a keen cyclist, have a few air-cooled Veedubs and play a bit with electric RC cars so this will be a place to play with all those toys and do basic maintenance

Wall art

Wall art and workbench

As it stands

Next step will be some built in cupboards with more counter space in the area on the right where the make shift table on top of the washing machine currently stands

Hi

So this last weekend we got around to doing the floor coating with the Rustoleum Epoxy coating.

First we had to thoroughly wash the floor

We let it dry overnight

Mixing the paint

Painting the edges first

Painting and sprinkling the chips

Finished product

Looks great. Is the wagon a decal or is it painted on the wall? Also, is it of a car you own?

I finally got around to installing my lights. 7 double globe fluorescent units with 36W globes. Lighting is amazing, it is like daylight in there and the spread means that no matter where you work you aren't ever really any shadows

Really nice garage, floor and wall painting made a huge difference!
Nice squareback too, which other aircooled VWs do you have? (Yes, I am into that too:rocker::D)

I have a 1975 VW Beetle S, that is a bit of a South African special. It was a mash up of Super Beetle and ordinary beetle, comprising of a round windscreen and dashboard like a Super Beetle but on a standard swing axle/torsion beam chassis only about 2000 were produced

And we have a 1974 Baywindow Kombi

Great looking garage! I love how you sealed the floors, I want to do that to mine someday soon.
