pricey for sure...you may be OK with just installing a PVC run for the bulk of the vent line...

I have not used that model, but I do use one similar, made by Fantech. My gas dryer vent run is about 20 feet and has two 45 degree bends. Inspector at time of home construction said a booster must be used.

Mine is closer to the end of the run, works by air pressure sensing. It will occasionally run on for a bit after the dryer has shut down. I try to do an annual dryer vent cleaning, basically a brush on a fish tape like device. I pretty much have to remove and re-install the booster each time. A bit of a pain so plan ahead on quick remove couplings and easy access.

I have installed 2 of the Fantech units. One in a commercial building which uses the dryer at least once a day. No problem with either units.

Quick-release ductwork is worth every penny:

It has to go up 8' , make a 90 Deg. , then 15' across Attic out Gable End . I like the idea that "Suncourt" unit is wired to come on with Dryer, not by a Sensor.

I was not familiar with just how they did the current sensing so I did look at the installation manual. If you, or your electrician have done so, I would recommend that you take a look.

It requires a second 4" box adjacent to your 240VAC dryer receptacle. That box contains the current sensor. The output of that box is than wired to your remote fan location. None of this is a big deal at time of construction or remodel, but a bit of a pain if "old work".

I would not expect many electricians to be familiar with this, so make sure they are aware of requirements. Once in place it would be an excellent way of triggering the booster fan.

Not familiar with that model. Installed one similar, maybe fantech, about 20 years ago in the house I was living in. The vent was vertical for six feet and then horizontal for about 20 feet. Stopped up with lint at least once a year. After installing in never stopped up again. The one I installed was switched above the dryer. When you started the dryer you had to turn the swithch on.

Just curious, why do you feel you need a power vent for your dryer? Most full size residential dryers can handle a 44ft vent with two 90 degree elbows without assistance. Why make it more complicated if you don't need to?

Also, nearly all building codes require metal duct for fire resistance.
Keep it safe!

CarFantic, please read comment from "allenb12" . I am going to have walls gutted during Remodel and Rewiring. I would rather spend a little time and money to rectify situation once and for all.

I used a Fantech dryer vent booster fan on my last house. It had a pressure sensor that would turn the fan on for something like 2 or 3 minutes. If the dryer was still running, it would re-start that timer. I had it for close to 10 years with no problems before we sold the house. My vent pipe run was long enough that my dryer overheated and the thermal fuse opened before I added the Fantech vent booster.
