I am putting a 200amp panel in my house and using the 100amp on in there for the garage. The 100 is a bryant and has all brd breakers. The 200 doesnt have a name on it but i have a challenger a sq. D and a eaton br and they all seem to fit? I would like to take all the brd breakers from the 100 and use them in the 200 if possible instead of replacing them all. Then get new eaton br for the 100 in the garage.

Your panel is either a Challenger, or a Westinghouse/Cutler-Hammer BR, w/ a Zinsco main, there is a list of suitable replacements for Challenger from Eaton somewhere.

Challenger used Zinsco mains because they were Zinsco in a former life & Westinghouse used them after they bought Challenger rather then build 2 different loadcenters for what is the same panel.

Edit: link does not work, use a search engine to find which breakers are classified by UL to be used in your panel. The BR used to be branded as Bryant, before their parent company Westinghouse decided to use their name instead, it later became Cutler-Hammer & is now Eaton. OEM breakers are UL listed to fit that make of panel, UL classified is when competitive makes have been tested by UL to fit specific panels, which sometimes is the only option as brands have merged or gone out of business.

Bryant has not been manufactured for around 25 years, that being said Westinghouse, Cutler-Hammer, Eaton, BR are all the same breakers, the "BR" is BRyant. Cutler-Hammer & Eaton is what is on the shelf & the C-H logo is fading out as it's rebranded as Eaton.

IMHO that is what I would use & can be found at both HD & Lowes.
