Built an electric beach cart out of a kids electric Razor Dirt Quad and a Gorilla Cart. Was tired of dragging everything through the dunes lol.

I posted the build on youtube for anyone interested:

That might take you from the parking spot to the beach and return; assuming you can do everything on one trip.

Pretty slick. I've never seen one but I dont get to the beach often, looks like a good idea and fun project.
Have you got to use it yet? Would you you change anything? How much would you say it weighs?
Haven’t used it yet. Will let you know in august. All together prob weighs less than 100 pounds

100lbs isn't terrible must of those platforms you stick in a receiver hitch can easily support that. I look forward to hearing how it works.

This isn't a criticism, just an observation and it probably is not relevant in sand but might be on pavement?? I have a car with a mini spool in the diff locking both rear axles together, that thing is nearly impossible to push while turning. One of the rear tires has to break traction for the turn to occur.

Also can you take the drive chain off without tools or maybe carry what you need, just incase the powertrain goes out for any reason, saving you a very hard walk back to your support vehicle.

Good luck, have great time with the buggy.
