Electric Hammer for Whacking Things Hard?

Is there an electric hammer type tool device that I can use that whacks things very hard. Whenever I try to remove ball joints, pickle forks take up a lot of space and cumbersome in low clearance situations, screw presses get cocked to one side or the other, or just don't fit around arm the right way, or are too big for the area I'm working in. I see online, some people just take a hammer and whack the knuckle really hard, or flip the nut over and whack it while it's on the stud. Which never has any luck for me.

Is there some sort of electric hammer tool that could whack knuckle really hard to help loosen up the tapered stud, or possible whack really hard the flipped over nut on the stud. Almost like an impact wrench, but instead had a circular disc attached to it, that would just apply the blows to the stud, to try and force it out of the knuckle.

A demolition hammer would provide some serious blows but will quite cumbersome to wield about in most automotive situations.
My preferred method for removing interferrence fit tapers is to apply constant pressure such as from a ball joint remover combined with a BFH. Crank down hard on the tool then smack the part the joint is into. Relying soley on the force applied by the pullers requires a LOT of pressure to break the bond. Impact along with the pre-load always does the trick for me.

I asked that same question here some time ago and the results were pretty much the same - Nada.

Bite the bullet on a usable air compressor and air hammer.

Look for a rotary hammer drill that accepts SDS bits. But I don't think it will be as powerful as a pneumatic hammer.

I only know of an air hammer for that.
Your next least expensive option is something like this or rent one from the local auto parts store.

I am hoping someone has found a battery powered solution. I need to be in the field, literally, removing the 3/4 inch rivets from a truck frame to salvage some suspension parts. I don't have the arms to swing a BFH and remove 20-30 rivets with a punch.

5/8" bit in a mag drill?
I haven't seen one that is batter powered, and i don't have a genny to run a corded one. That is an idea tho. Completely forgot about those. I'll have to grind a flat on the rivet and give it a good deep center punching.

When everything else in the world has gone cordless and air impacts, ratchets, and die grinders are in museums air hammers and needle scalers will still be the tools of choice when **** has got to be moved from where it is to where it needs to go.

I vote grinder, BFH a sharp chisel and a fire extinguisher. Cut the rivit in half through the top just touching the frame and chisel off each half with a couple swings. I’ve removed big rivits this way easily and very quickly.

If the chassis is scrap, just take a grinder to detach the pieces that the parts you want are attached to.
It's not. The truck is going to be customized this summer. I am trying to salvage the factory air ride for my rig.

The frame was stamped out when it was formed. Banging out the rivets by hand is nearly impossible. Drilling is the best way. The suspension plates are are 1/2 inch thick, or a little thicker, and forged aluminum. Which I didn't think about when the torch idea was mentioned.

All these expensive tools. If I could afford those, I wouldn't be salvaging truck parts in a field.
You're trying to get air hammer functionality without air. Any attempt is going to be much bigger and more expensive, and you're still not going to get the same performance. The tech just isn't there.

I was regearing an axle in my garage two years ago and to remove the pinion gear after removing the nut, out of curiosity I hit it with Bosch SDS Max combo hammer. It's like the model that puts out 15 lb-ft...I didn't do anything, LoL. A few man-taps with my regular 10 lb sledge hammer and it came out.

Last year for ball joints on my old truck (the riveted ones from the factory) I got tired pounding, drilling and cussing and finally quit. I bought the HF Chief brand pneumatic hammer and had them out in like 15 minutes.

Needle scaler, die grinder and now that pneumatic air hammer are bad @$$ tools I have in my arsenal that are air-only.
