The retail price is heavily inflated. Here is one that appears to be the exact same model under a different manufacturer name on Amazon. Some pretty negative reviews:

If you can overlook the negative reviews, it is still a good price at Sears.com with the $22.50 back in points. You can't use your current points to pay as it is a marketplace seller.

It has 4.1 out of 5 stars.

Never understood how manufacturers could justify their ridiculous prices of these "specialty" 120v electric heaters. No matter how you dress it up, you can only push out so many BTUs out of any 1500w electric heater. My 10 dollar Goodwill heater can put out just as much heat as this thing. It has a thermostat and a variable wattage adjustment, can be used as just a fan...and it's the size of a toaster. Guess aesthetics might be a reason for some to be attracted to them. :dunno: I'm more a utilitarian type person.

Also, remember that this is a 3rd party vendor and all issues/returns have to go through them. Sears is just acting as the initial front face for the sale.

So many people buy things and try to return it in the store I work in. We can't do **** about it. If it's broken or you just don't want it, you have to contact the seller and usually pay for return shipping.
