Electric Impact Wrenches

Can anyone recommend a good quality economically priced electric impact wrench. I have air but can't always lug an AC to the field that will furnish enough air to run one. I'll be using it to turn bolts on mid fifties Buicks. Mainly running gear bolts but some bumper and body which have some rust. I typically don't mind if it just wrings them off. Am I expecting too much from a corded impact. Anyone with any experience with a Dewalt DW290.
As always thanks for your help

I have a DW292 as well as it's Black & Decker forebear. I highly recommend them.

I used to haul the BD in my truck, and it came in handy on many occasions when visiting relatives that had no air available. I will often grab an electric rather than firing up the compressor for quick jobs.

Cannot speak for any particular make or model, the one I have is a 30 year old Craftsman, that works very well. Everyone needs a corded electric impact for times when you are away from the shop. I went with a neighbor once to his son's house. We were going there to assemble a large, heavy wooden swing/slide/platform/playhouse. Luckily I grabbed the electric impact, extensions, and sockets, it proved invaluable for running lag bolts into the wood.

I've had a Craftsman for 25 years and it still works well. Hasn't let me down yet.

i've had the rockwell[ given to me] hat lasted a number of years and have ownned the black and decker model for over twenty years and never had a prob with it except for the broken anvil as a result of lending to a "friend" who told me it just broke.........found out later it fell from a 2 storey roof........to this day still works like a charm..............others have bought the cheap knockoff versions and havong tried them myself see no real diff in performance or otherwise...........and at 1/4 of the price, pick up two and have a spare or one in different locations............also have used mine while running off a very smal carry around type of generartor and did just fine.................if to be used at a bench continuously , i would get a retractable reel as they are unwiedly and heavy................

I bought a Makita Impact wrench, and I love it. It's corded, which I actually prefer because I've never had good luck with rechargeable batteries holding up. They seem to always work great for about a year, after that you need to buy new ones.

I think it's this one:

It's been great, and has plenty of power. I reach for it a lot because I don't like charging up my air tank when I have a quick job.
