Hi all, I recently picked these up and have no idea what they would have been used for. Just thought I would throw it out here and see if anyone has any ideas? The motors are 1/3 hp. 115V. The timer box things go 0 to 15 seconds. What can you come up with?

Shelleymatic is typically restaurant equipment related. There's probably applications there that aren't too obvious. Perhaps some kind of stirring/dispensing/temperature related machine?

Since the timer is only 15 seconds, wonder if that is only a time delay. Set at only 2 seconds, I doubt that would even run up to speed in any reasonable time. Don't think they would make a time delay circuit breaker.

As ugly as that is built, I doubt it is directly food service, probably ancillary like dishwasher exhaust. Guessing that the black cable is incoming power, the timer may turn on the motor, than the other piece of conduit 2 seconds later (heater etc)

Open the boxes, trace out the wires # and colors, tell us more.
