Got a wall mount elec oven for Power coating, no plug on it.
I assume it is a 220V...?
will a 35 amp be ok?

Wall ovens are normally hardwired in. I am not sure buy memory says they are 30 amp but check on the info plate on the oven.

yeah been looking all over the GE site, no help.
digital screen, red, black, and white with a bare ground attached to it on the end.

I will dig a bit more, for sure don't want the shop going up in flames cause of my dumbness.

With the model number, you can look up the manual on GE's website.

The model number may be difficult to read. Mine was.

If it is a wall oven, it has to be hard wired.

I installed an a/c disconnect on the wall next to mine.

As mentioned, the wire gauge of the appliance means nothing... yours will need to be bigger.

Yes. exactly. All you need is the kW of the heater and the voltage upon which it runs.

Power = Pressure * Flow, or in an electrical sense, Voltage * Current. Armed with that knowledge, when you know two, you will then know three

Are you running it in pipe or romex? I normally rough in stoves on a 30a circuit,unless its some big commercial monster.

A close match is JTP15WD1WW Can you look again? There should be a plate somewhere that has the amperage.
