Electric Panel - Proximity to Flammables?

Any spec on the proximity of Panels to Flammable materials? Specifically a heating oil tank? Technically the tank is sealed, and vented outdoors, but figured I'd check before getting my heart set on a location...

While on the subject of oil tanks and such...any spec or code which says you shouldnt have outlets next to em either?

Over current protection - NEC 240.24(D) Not in vicinity of easily ignitable material.

Read what you want into it.

Also I don't know of any outlet restriction.

As patten said, it's open for interpretation. If this is going to be inspected I would ask the inspector what he/she thinks first.

A heating oil tank is not easy to ignite whatsoever and there are no flammable vapors.

No inspectors..no inspections.
I did just ask an electrician who was here at work doing some PM...he knew of nothing in terms of oil tanks...his panel & tank at his house are 4' apart...

After talking to him, I'm headed out to buy my 2nd panel today...mount it tonight...
