I'm hoping to get some feedback on installing electric radiant heat in a basement...particularly regarding the underlayment. I'll be finishing our basement soon and have decided go with luxury vinyl tile. Under the tile I want to put electric radiant heat. I'm trying to determine the best underlayment to use. The basement ceiling is only 7', maybe a few inches higher so I'd prefer lower profile products.

At this point I'm looking at cork, Cerazorb, MP Global Quietwalk plus, and eco cork foam. I like that the eco cork foam has a moisture barrier built in... however it looks like its just 6mil plastic so I imagine I can add that under any of the products listed above. The quietwalk seems to be popular, is thin, and seems to have great reviews as well. What I dont understand about the quietwalk is that it has a moisture barrier on the top surface, rather than underneath. I live in the northeast so it does get humid but the basement has never had any moisture issues or leaks.
For the walls I plan on painting them with drylock, then gluing on 1/2" rigid foam insulation, and then framing and using rockwool between the studs.

Any help/feedback would be appreciated.
