I had a 1/4" drive one a while back. It was good for putting oil pan bolts on etc when building engines. It finally gave up and I never replaced it. I have a Blue Point 3/8" drive impact that I use pretty regulary.

i got a skil brand 3/8 drive rechargable........ its awesome for when ur hand is stiff and been turning a wrench all day.........

i had an IR 3/8 drive 10 years ago, it was lost when my box got stolen and never recovered,
i used it alot and i miss it now and again
just my opinion it was worth the money

i always see them being used when i see photos in auto related magazines

Thats because they are just taking pics and it makes for a prettier pic than having a air hose running through the shot. if you have access to air you'll hate it, at least I do
