Electric space heater

In one of the threads I noticed an electric heater that somone had mounted on a wall pointing down at an angle. It appeared to be about 18 inches square. It may have been a small wattage heater as it plugged into an 110v outlet. It was all black and must have some sort of a fan for air movement.

I cant seem to find the picture at the moment.

Does anyone have something like this?

Just a thought but you might want to re-think the electric heater idea and look at natural gas or propane. Especially if the electric rates go up 40% like they are saying.

Zero. There's no efficiency difference. 1KW = 3412 BTU's You pay per kilowatt.

the only difference is a 240V heater draws half as many amps, which means smaller wire sizes.

Just because it draws half the amps, the wattage (KW) is still the same, because the voltage is double. Watts = Volts x Amps
