Hi Everyone, new to the forum and have a question about a shop that I am building.
I had an electrician come out and wire the shop. upon doing so he decided to use surface mount boxes. I wanted to recess them in the wall and he assured me there would be no problem...now I have a problem.
The shop is a 48x40 pole shed. and the inside has been strapped and spray foamed. All the wiring is now buried under the foam. The inside walls will be finished in tin. How do I finish this off and have it look half decent. I am able to mount the surface mount box flush with the strapping and I am able to cut a square hole in the tin to accommodate it, the issue is I have no way of putting a j trim around it or anything and quite frankly looks like ****. I am also worried about the sharp tin edge not being covered. Here are some pics.
